ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam delivered a really high quality field this year. He managed also against Botic Van De Zandschulp in next round, winning easily in straight sets and setting up a delightful quarterfinal match-up against Felix Auger Aliassime. The Canadian won his both matches against Lorenzo Sonego and Gregoire Barrere in straight sets.
The kind of draw being stacked as described brought a hit duel between the absolute top tier players who proved their classed and great form already this season. Stefanos Tsitsipas, Australian Open finalist seeded with #1 faced Jannik Sinner, who won the ATP 500 tournament in Montpellier on last Sunday. The Greek was a slight pre-match favorite, but it was Sinner who dominated his opponent throughout whole the match, winning in straight sets, gaining 3 breaks in general and not facing any single breakpoint. Amazing performance from Sinner who clearly needs to be considered as a contender to the big achievements this season. Defeating the current world's number 3 is the biggest match win by rank for the Italian. Sinner will face Stan Wawrinka in the QF. The Swiss defeated Alexander Bublik and Richard Gasquet so far, both in straight sets.
