Carlos Alcaraz celebrates a flawless comeback to the competition, taking his 7th career's title after the final of ATP 250 tournament in Buenos Aires. The world's number two defeated Cameron Norrie in straight sets 6-3 7-5.
The final match was a clash between two top seeds of the tournament, but the pre-match favorite was clear. Barely anyone could expect any slump of Alcaraz, who has progressed with every match during the week in Argentina, playing on his favourite clay surface. First games of the match were quite even, with no breaks till the score 3-3. Then, Alcaraz clicked the gear and won the following 6 games, clinching the first set on the road and moving into the break advantage lead in second one. The reigning US Open champion did not manage to serve out the victory within the score 5-3 though, as Norrie managed to fight back with a break and leveled the set score. It was still no trouble for the Spaniard, who produced the match-point during the opponent's serve in 12th game and converted it, crossing the line after no more than 1.5 hours of a battle controlled by himself almost for a whole time.
Both the finalists move from Buenos Aires to Brasil, where they continue the South American clay campaign, participating in the ATP 500 tournament in Rio de Janeiro next week.
