Novak Djokovic has won a hit showdown against Daniil Medvedev in ATP 250 Adelaide 1 semifinal on Saturday. Djokovic showed a stellar performance winning both sets by one break, not allowing Medvedev to break his own serve during all of three breakpoints that he faced during whole the match. Top seed of the tournament was putting a pressure on his opponent effectively once Medvedev commited double fault in both games when he conceded a break. Once the tennis level of Serbian champion was undoubtful today, the only one warning on his side was a pain in a harmstring, which caused him calling the medical time-out. Despite that, Djokovic is optimistic, that he will be all-fit for tomorrow final against Sebastian Korda. The American, currently ranked #33 fought a tight first set against Yoshihito Nishioka ended up with tie-break. Then, the Japanese has pulled out due to an injury, giving Korda a chance to fight for his second ever ATP title on Sunday.

Linda Noskova continues her fabulous run in Adelaide, upsetting top seed Ons Jabeur in the road to her maiden final on WTA level. Jabeur was struggling with back pain during the opening set, which was grabbed by young Czech, who capitalized on early break just after start of the match. Jabeur felt better after the break between the sets and climbed to her level winning second set 6-1. The deciding set was a display of brilliant game from Noskova who gained a break advantage in fourth game and did not slip away her best career win till the end. Her final opponent will be Aryna Sabalenka. There was no surprise in the match of Belarusian against Irina Camelia Begu. Sabalenka showed a brilliant serving performance, facing just three breakpoints (all in the 7th game of 1st set), cancelling all of the and with the dominant hitting throught whole the match, booked her place in the final near to sensational youngster from Czech Republic.
